What is Class 2 Individual User Signing & Encryption Digital Signature Certificate ?

Class 2 Individual User Combo DSC is basically contains two certificates - Signing & Encryption. The signature certificate is corresponding to the signing private key. Signing ONLY DSC is a low secured Certificate in compare to Encryption. With help of Encryption Certificate one can encrypt & decrypt the files. Encryption Certificate is basically to intact the integrity of file during transaction. The encryption key pair is used by the subscriber for receiving encrypted messages which is encrypted using subscriber’s public key. Class 2 Individual User Combo DSC is acceptable on some limited e-Tendering / e-Procurement Websites in India.
